As the clay structure gets ready, the assembling of the different parts begins. In this manner a proper shape is given to the idol, making it resemble Mother Durga. Then the first layer of paint is applied which marks the skin colour of the deity.

The artisans try their best to give the idol the looks of Devi Durga. Though nobody has seen Devi Durga, but still they imagine a face and put it into reality. This shows the amount of talent the artisans possess.
