International Dance Day
International Dance Day is celebrated on April 29 on the anniversary of Jean-Georges Noverre (1727 - 1810), the inventor of modern ballet.
Dance is an essential element of human civilization from the olden times. Still majority of the countries do not allocate national funds to hold up this art form.

This day is celebrated at all schools with writing composition about dance, sketches on dance, dance competition etc. for the promotion of this art form and to make it popular among the children. Each and every year a note from a famous dance persona is broadcasted all through the world to make it universalize, by crossing all political, cultural and racial blockades and to convey a message of harmony and amity with a universal language - DANCE.

Dance is a fundamental factor of individual and communal progress. The International Dance Council CID UNESCO, together with UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund proposes fundamental learning on dance for all children to eliminate inequalities of every kind as correct learning constitutes the firm basis for an individual’s prospect.

The actual purpose of this day is to provide the prospect to be trained and to practice dance with education from the very childhood. Accession to the art is a fundamental right of every child. This right should be saved, to meet up their indispensable needs and to attain their desired achievement.

It is believed that children are the foundation of our societal advancement. Our principal objective should be to help each and every child to triumph over the barriers of poverty and aggression.
