Sri Durga Chalisa
Durga Chalisa are a set of 40 mantras in four quartets. Durga Chalisa is sung in the praise of Goddess Durga. Chanted especially during Durga puja, these hymns can be sung in the praise of the Goddess any day. Devotees of Goddess Durga generally sing to her glory in the wee hours of the day. Durga Chalisa counsists of 40 shlokas. These sholokas or matures are set in a stanza of four.
