The zodiacal sign of Taurus commences on April 20th but for seven days, being overlapped by the 'cusp" of the previous sign, it does not come into full power until on or about April 27th. From this date onwards it is in full strength until May 20th and then for seven days gradually loses its strength on account of being overlapped by the "cusp" of the incoming sign "Gemini".
As a sign depicted by the fierce and fiery bull, Taureans are productive, preserving, stubborn and are always trying to convince others that their views are correct. Venus, the ruler of Taurus, endows these people with kindness, patience, charm and a fondness and a talent for the arts and luxuries. They are sensual, extremely passionate, possessive and jealous. They are straight forward and direct and as opposed to the previous sign of Aries, ponder for a long time before making a decision. Once they have a goal in mind, however, they are almost obsessive about attaining it. They are even-tempered and while it takes some time before anger is ignited. People born in this section of the year have a curious power of dominating others, even when not conscious of trying to do so. Taureans are unyielding in their determination and are often called "stiff-necked" and obstinate.
LOVE LIFE
They are governed by their sensations and by their loving nature, but affection has a greater hold on them than passion. If they love, they are generous to the last degree and will consider no sacrifice too great for the person they care for. Neither men or women born in this period should marry early, their first marriage is usually a mistake.
